Hi All, MMVS (Martha Mariam Vanitha Samajam), our ladies wing of Church, hosted a charity brunch on Sunday May 24th 2015, to raise funds to help support the Nepal Earthquake relief operations. All the funds raised were donated to support the relief efforts in Nepal. Please see vote of thanks from our MMVS coordinator. "Hi Everyone , On behalf of MMVS I would like to thank each and everyone who participated and supported the Charity Fundraisng Brunch this past Sunday to aid the victims of earthquake in Nepal. It's our responsible act to help minimize the suffering of those people. I'm so happy to inform you that it was a great success and we have raised $725 from the food drive and donations (net proceeds). We are planning to hand over this money to ICON Charities representative on June 7th Sunday after Holy Qurbana. ICON Charities are entrusted by our Catholicos to coordinate the efforts of fund collection for Nepal. My heartfelt gratitude to Rini, Laly Athimoottil & Sindu who volunteered and helped out to cook the delicious food. Whatever these three ladies did for those less fortunate, they did for our Heavenly Father. Special thanks to Deepa Kochamma, Ajey,Anil Varghese & Santhosh for their assistance that day. Once again my sincere thanks to Sujit Achen and all the parishioners who helped to make this event an incredible accomplishment.May God Almighty shower his blessings for the spiritual growth and development of this women ministry in our parish.
