Please contact Mr. Anil Thomas (Sunday School Headmaster) for more information. Please see attachments too.

Below are the guidelines for the competitions.

Please see the attached guidelines and topics for Talent competitions and assigned competitions this year.  Changes from last year are listed below.  This is to clarify the guidelines; not to change or deviate from
the attached guidelines.  Guidelines are the same that Benny sent to the principals today.

Talent Competitions:

1. Group Song - maximum of 15 members in a team.  Previous years there were no max limit.  Syriac language song also is permitted in addition to English and Malayalam.

2. Elocution - Same as last year.  Starting 2015 only one topic will be given to the students; so they don't have to prepare for two.

3. Under the judging components of solo and group songs - Changed Music component to Pitch and Rhythm.  (I tried to remove the general appearance component of solo song but some people didn't agree).

4. For Bible Quiz - Only two books this year.   Second place winner will also be announced. If two or more teams have confusion about a question, Quiz master has the option to cancel that specific question.
There are a few more changes for Bible Quiz.  Please read that section of the attached guidelines.

Assigned competitions:  Use college ruled regular paper.   Number of pages to write - no limit.  Whatever the student can write in 45 minutes is what the criteria.
Drawing - Group 1 (Nursery / KG) not expected to write a any description of the drawing.  Group 2 should write a short paragraph on a separate sheet of paper and attach to the drawing paper.

if you have any questions on this please let me know.

With prayers,
Thomas Mathai
Area 4 coordinator.
